Tokio (東京 Tōkyō?), formeel Tokio Metropool (東京都 Tōkyō-to?), is die hoofstad en grootste stad van Japan Dit is ook een van die 47 prefekture van Japan.[1] Dit is die setel van die Japanse regering en die tuiste van die Japannese Keiserlike Familie.
